We don't have a meeting this week because of Columbus Day. Scouts and adults take the night off.
But we do still have this to talk about
Troop One Recharter
That time of year has come again when we have to put together our recharder for the next season. As of right now I am hoping that all of our members will be rejoining us for the 2023 season. We hope to have this paperwork in by mid October. Please let us know if you do not intend on rechartering with us so we don't re-register you. We have a few changes coming in the '23 season and we need your help to implement them. We are much stronger with you than without you.
We all know that these are not the best of times and if any of our members need help with the cost of recharder please, reach out to us and let us know.

Monday Meeting - Scarecrow fest prep and knots practice
Oct 3rd 6:50p - 8:15, St.Marks
This Monday we will be working on two things.
The first will be the design for Scarecrow Fest. The boys have chosen to recreate the flag raising of Iwo Jima. What material do we need to make our display? Who has some extra stuff that they can loan out? We will put all that together this week.
Our second objective for the week is to do some knots practice. Can you tie some of the most common and least common knots and give their usage? We will find out on Monday night.

Hi Everybody! We are back and no one got lost in a cave. This past weekend, as was predicted, was a very simple and pleasant weekend. Everyone seems to have had a good time. Even with the freak downpour on Saturday night we all agreed that a trip to the caves was just what we needed to start the fall off.
There is a lot to cover this week and we'll start with this....

Class A for this one, you don't have to wear the badge sash.

I wanted to start this week's letter off by congratulating our three newest Order of the Arrow members. Anthony, Seth and Joey took part in the ordeal yesterday at Camp Big Timber. The effort that they put into earning their sashes and becoming members reflects highly on who they are and why they were nominated in the first place. Good job guys and welcome to the O.A
